Excel Hockey - Founder, Director and Head Instructor for Excel Hockey
Craig Jenkins played in the minor ranks near his hometown of Souris until Midget age. From there, he graduated to the ranks of the Quebec Major Junior League, U.P.E.I, Newfoundland Senior League, Division II Stuttgart, Germany and finally returning to P.E.I. to win the Allan Cup with P.E.I.’s Armour Fence Islanders Senior Team in 1991 and also with the Truro Bearcats in 1998. Craig still holds the scoring records for the P.E.I. Midget, Junior and Newfoundlands Senior League. He has also has been recently featured on the Sportsnet Tim Horton’s Hockey Tips. Craig has a special talent for puck handling and scoring and now takes great pride in passing his vast array of knowledge, expertise and skills. He has earned a reputation as a teacher, leader and hockey technician.

EXCEL Hockey is entering its seventh season and we are becoming known as the hockey school that offers the most. Great teaching and the content of our programs have been the key to success of the EXCEL experience. Our belief is that too many times skills are taught by demonstrating the end result. There are basic building blocks to learning all skills. Our highly trained and mature group of instructors break skills down and correct deficiencies in a positive manner. With better understanding and clear knowledgeable instruction they are able to accelerate their learning and develop their skills to a new level.
